Hour Requirements - 24 hours of approved study of which at least 8 hours must be in each of the licensed Lines including 3 hours of Ethics. P&C agent selling flood coverage needs 3 hours of flood continuing education.     Continuing Education Renewal Date -  All agents must have their CE Requirements renewed every 2 years based on the individual's birth month and birth year. Ex. If an agent was born January 1971, they are required to comply to January 31, 2011 and every odd-number year thereafter.   Recordkeeping Fee -  $15 recordkeeping fee must be paid by student directly to Thomson Prometric at www.prometric.com (two year fee).   Final Exam - to be proctored by a disinterested third party.  Both proctor and producer must sign an "Affidavit of Exam Proctoring" included in the final exam answer sheet.    Repeat Course - After three (3) years.   Carry Over - May carry 18 hours over to the next cycle.        Buy Courses Now!   NEW – Biennial License Renewal Fee:  This $25 fee must be paid directly to the DOI and can be paid online.  This is separate from the $15 Record Keeping Fee paid to Prometric. New producers must immediately complete the three hour Ethics course upon licensure.
